Here you will find audio recordings of the homilies preached at Masses at the St. John the Beloved parish (McLean, Virginia). Normally, only the homily preached at the Noon Sunday Mass is recorded. However, there may occasionally be other homilies recorded and available here. Some weeks there may be no homily recorded.
On occasion, lecture series and reflections offered at St. John the Beloved may also be recorded. These can be found on the right side of the page below (or the bottom, if your browser window is currently too narrow for side by side display).
This web page is maintained (as a volunteer activity) by Corey Huber, the owner of Tall Guy AV. Recordings are usually posted within a week of the homily. However, there may be delays caused by Mr. Huber's travel commitments.
All homilies presented here are in mp3 format and free of charge. The gospel reading usually preceeds the homily to give it context. (Since October 21, 2007, the noon Mass at St. John the Beloved has been offered according to the Latin Extraordinary Form. Accordingly, the gospel readings will differ from what you heard at Mass if you attended a Novus Ordo Mass on the same day.) The homilist is identfied with each link.
Mr. Huber may assign a title to a homily (sometimes with a further explanation) for the benefit of helping you find a specific homily.
